Shane Andries is a multi-hyphenate artist, filmmaker, and co-founder of HappyBad Bungalow—a production company he launched alongside Billy Magnussen and Anne Hollister.
HappyBad Bungalow has produced two indie features and is currently developing projects with Sony Pictures Television, Mandalay Pictures, Phiphen, Rabbits Black, and various other film and TV ventures. Upcoming projects include: Chariot (Kit Harington, Billy Magnussen, Dir. Steve Pink).
A former Grand Prize winner at the Slamdance Screenplay Competition, Shane has collaborated as a writer with Disney, Dan Lin’s Rideback Ranch, Anonymous Content, and Automatik. As a director, his short films have garnered multiple awards, and he will make his feature directorial debut with an upcoming film about Houston’s iconic furniture salesman, Mattress Mack.
As an actor, Shane has performed globally as a Blue Man in Blue Man Group. His recent TV credits include: Taylor Sheridan’s Lioness, HBO’s Love and Death, The Chosen, Fear The Walking Dead, and Paramount’s 1923. Shane is a proud member of SAG, EQUITY, and the WGA, and is a graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Drama.
